Over the years, the Old Dominion University field hockey camps have earned a reputation for excellence. As the master teacher on site with each camp session, I personally am eager to ensure that this tradition of excellence continues.
To many of you, welcome back, and to the new campers, enjoy your experience in an outstanding field hockey environment.

Camp Information
LocationOld Dominion University is located in Norfolk, Va. and is only 30 minutes from Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

Campers will be housed in Whitehurst Hall with three nutritious, all you can eat meals served each day. Housing includes air conditioned rooms. Each camper must provide their own linens (twin), pillow, towels, toiletries, etc. Roommate requests are accepted. Facilities
Foreman Field of which serve the Old Dominion Monarch Field Hockey Team-will be used by the campers. Equipment
Each Camper should bring turf shoes, or cross trainers for dry surfaces, one each - red/white/blue T-shirts, mouth guard, shin guards, and hockey stick. Goalkeepers must provide full protection: kickers, leg guards, gloves, chest protector, facemask with throat protector, helmet, padded pants and spending money for ODU Bookstore(optional). Refunds
$100.00 IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. NO REFUNDS AFTER June 1, 2008 except for medical reasons. A doctor's note MUST accompany the refund request within 7 days of request. NO REFUNDS will be issued for any reason after the start of camp. NOTE TO HIGH SCHOOL COACHES
Please contact the Athletic Camp Director at (757) 683-5484 to ensure that there is space available in your preferred session as spaces will fill up quickly. Upon reserving your teams spot in the camp, you will be asked to send a roster of the expected participants to the Athletic Camp Office. Teams traveling from out of the area may arrive a night early at an additional fee. Please contact the Athletic Camp Director in order to make reservations.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Registration:To enroll in camp a completed registration form, with health form and full payment, must be sent to ODU Camp Office postmarked by May 1, 2008. Please do not call to confirm that your application has been received. You will receive a confirmation letter via e-mail after your application has been processed. Walk-in registrations on the first day of camp are NOT guaranteed a space. Medical Insurance:
The University provides a secondary accident insurance policy which carries a $1,000 maximum benefit. This plan has a $25 deductible and can be fi led after the camper's primary insurance.
