Kinerk named new cheerleading coach NORFOLK - Christina Kinerk, a former cheerleader and special events representative with the St. Louis Rams, has been selected cheerleading coach at Old Dominion University. Kinerk is currently the executive vice president of Jeness Uniform Centers and served this past year as the cheerleading coach for Chesapeake Bay Academy, as well as a cheerleading, gymnastics and jazz instructor for Dancetree, Inc. In addition to cheering for the St. Louis Rams, her cheer experience includes her participation on a competitive cheerleading squad for American Cheer Elite, as a dance choreographer and captain of the St. Louis Stampede Arena Football team, dance choreographer and captain of the cheerleading squad for the River City Rascals minor league baseball team (St. Louis) and as the lead flyer for the University of Missouri cheer squad. She was also recently named a 2003 Outstanding Professional Woman in Hampton Roads. |
