We are glad that you are considering joining the proud tradition of the Monarch Athletic Family. There are some things YOU need to do as you consider making the transition from high school to college student-athlete. First of all, make your intentions known to your high school guidance counselor and/or coach - they can assist you in this process. Second: register with the NCAA Clearinghouse during or just after your junior year of high school (www.ncaaclearinghouse.net). You also may contact the Old Dominion University Athletic Department Compliance Office (jwilson@odu.edu) and we will try to assist you.
This information below contains education for parents, high-school students, recruits and prospects. Please ask questions during this process. You can also visit the individual sport pages here on this site to find out more about the program you are interested in. Many of the programs have questionnaires which can help you in beginning the communication with our coaching staff. You can also find contact information for the Old Dominion University coaching staff here.
