NORFOLK, VA -- Come join current and former ODU Baseball Monarchs at the annual Old Dominion University Alumni Baseball weekend, scheduled for Sept. 28 and 29.
The golf outing will be Friday at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth, Va.(757-393-8600). Shotgun start will be at 12 noon with four-man Florida Best Ball. The Old Timers' baseball game and the alumni-varsity baseball game will be on Saturday at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex.
The ODU staff remains extremely excited about the future of Monarch Baseball. As we head into our third season as a staff, we are focusing all of our efforts and energy toward putting a team on the field that will make all of you proud of the great tradition that you have helped build here.
This Spring, your Monarchs won the CAA Regular Season Championship. ODU was led by Anthony Shawler, sophomore RHP named to four All-American teams, the first to do so since 2000. Four Monarchs were honored with post-season awards in 2006 and the young team is primed to compete for the CAA laurels again next season.

5:00 p.m. - Dinner at Golf Course with presentation of awards
and prize drawings.
Saturday's Schedule
11 a.m. - BP & Warm-up
12 noon - Old Timers' Game
1:15 p.m. - Introduction of Alumni Players in attendance
and alumni photo.
1:30 p.m. - Inf/OF for varsity game
1:45 p.m. - Recent Alumni vs. Recent Alumni Game
3:30 p.m. - Current ODU Squad BLUE/WHITE Game
