2006-07: CAA Scholar Athlete of the Year for basketball...started 11 games...scored ten points in ODU's win over 8th ranked Georgetown... 2005-06: Played in 33 games with three starts...Scored a career high five points against JMU...Five assists vs. W&M...Seven rebounds in NIT games vs. Manhattan and Hofstra...Played 21 minutes in NIT win vs. Hofstra...averaged 19 minutes in four NIT games...Helped hold Hofstra's Loren Stokes to 12 points in NIT quarterfinal game Honors Two-time runner-up for "Mr. Basketball" honors in the state of Tennessee. Earned first team All-State honors in Tennessee. All-City Player of the Year. Honor Roll Student. Averaged 21.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game as a senior. Scored 27 points and 15 rebounds against Dr. Phillips High in Orlando,FL. Adams was selected Most Outstanding Player at the Benedictine High School Capital City Classic in Richmond, VA. He was also named the Tournament's Best Rebounder and to the All-Tournament team. Adams hauled in 46 rebounds in the three games. In one of those tournament games against Douglas Freeman, Adams scored 23 points and hauled in 14 boards. As a high school junior, Adams averaged 19.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game. He earned first team All-Region and first team All-State honors, leading Baylor to the state tournament quarterfinals. NOTE: His mother, Priscilla is N.C. State's tenth all-time rebounder with 644 for a 5.4 career average. Godfather was Reggie White Adams placed second in the Tennessee state championships in the high jump, clearing 6-8.
