GREENVILLE, SC-- John Murphy and Stan Guerrero both shot 76 in the first round of the Furman Intercollegiate. As a team, ODU is tied with Wofford
for 22nd at 313.
Murphy and Guerrero both shot 41 on the front and the tournament's third best back nine with a 35. Jonathan Hodge of Chattanooga leads the tournament with a 69 and Peter McGibney of Francis Marion is second with a 70. UT Chattanooga leads the event by three strokes over South Carolina with a 287.
